Basketball Game Preview: Bible Baptist Eagles vs. Tournament Opponent

The Bible Baptist Eagles will take on Tournament Opponent on Thursday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Back in November, Bible Baptist ended up a good deal behind Varsity Opponent and lost 58-43.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Marcos Carrillo, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 11 points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Abraham Cruz, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 12 points.

Meanwhile, Tournament Opponent came up short against DME Academy Blue on Sunday and fell 61-51. Tournament Opponent has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bible Baptist came up short against Tournament Opponent in their previous matchup back in February, falling 40-27. Can Bible Baptist avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
