Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial extended their postseason success on Saturday against Palmview. They put the hurt on the Lobos with a sharp 15-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won 26 matches in a row.

Meredith Cavazos looked comfortable as she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one walk in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Jada Zepeda and Desi Garcia did most of the damage at the plate: Zepeda went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple, while Garcia went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. Zepeda is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Kenadie Cavazos also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.
