Bowie waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They blew past the Pewitt Brahmas 47-26. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 673rd, while the Brahmas are ranked 1458th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bowie has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 19-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.0 points per game. As for Pewitt, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
