It's playoff time, and Math & Science College Preparatory had no trouble coming through when it counted. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Smidt Tech Grey Wolves on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Sharks, who have now won eight games in a row.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Angel Hernandez, who's now up to seven this season.

Math & Science College Preparatory's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those six matchups. As for Smidt Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

Coming up, Math & Science College Preparatory will challenge Reseda at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Smidt Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
