             Starkville hasn't had much luck against Clinton recently, but that could start to change  on Tuesday. The Starkville Yellowjackets will venture away from home to  take on the Clinton Arrows  at 5:30  p.m. Both teams beat their previous opponents by a single goal, so this matchup might be just as contested.
 Starkville's defense heads into the  matchup  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  two weeks ago. They had just enough and edged Corinth out  1-0.
 Meanwhile, Clinton faced Northwest Rankin in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. Clinton sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  2-1  win over Northwest Rankin. The  victory was familiar territory for the Arrows who have now won three  games in a row.
  Kayla Jones was the driving force of Clinton's attack as she scored both of Clinton's goals, bringing her season total up to 15 goals.
 Clinton is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-1-1 record  this season. As for Starkville, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
 Starkville suffered a grim  5-0 defeat to Clinton  in their previous matchup  back in January. Can Starkville avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
