League recap: Bishop Rosecrans tops Marietta to extend winning streak

Bishop Rosecrans extended the longest winning streak in East Central Ohio - Gray this week by beating Marietta, 10-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.

Claymont took down Beaver 54-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Coshocton's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Redskins feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brock Bolden has thrown for 173 yards and one touchdown this season, while Saquore Harris has four catches for 95 yards. Harris leads the league in rushing with 292 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when River View takes on Bishop Rosecrans. As it stands, the Black Bears are in third, while Don Bush's team is in first.

The Mustangs made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,018 from 4,637. The improvement came about via a 54-6 victory over the Beavers last week.
