 MACCRAY lost against Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg back in April of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. The MACCRAY Wolverines fell just short of the Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints by a score of  4-3. MACCRAY has not had much luck with Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
 For Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg's part,  Madison Anderson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and one unearned) runs on ten hits. Anderson has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in five consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Faith Duke, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with a  stolen base and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Kya Oakes, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 MACCRAY's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record  this season.
