Basketball Recap: Western Dubuque Comes Up Short

Western Dubuque was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 48-39 to the Jefferson Hawks. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Western Dubuque's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Jefferson, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Kennedy the next time they take the court. Jefferson will host Kennedy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Western Dubuque will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th.
