Basketball Recap: East Jessamine Takes a Loss

East Jessamine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 79-59 to the West Jessamine Colts. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-31 back in January.

East Jessamine's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for West Jessamine, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Jaguars take on the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for West Jessamine, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Danville at 7:30 p.m.
