Basketball Recap: Solon Comes Up Short

Solon suffered their closest loss since February 23rd on Saturday. They fell just short of the New Albany Eagles by a score of 49-46. The game marked the Comets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Solon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for New Albany, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Solon will square off against Nordonia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. New Albany and Hilliard Darby will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hilliard Darby will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something New Albany surely won't give up without a fight.
