Ahran Ogbar Earns League's Top Spot

Starting off the list is Spring's Ahran Ogbar, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Ogbar rushed for 162 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, and also threw for 179 yards and two touchdowns. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.

The win (which was Spring's third in a row) raised their record to 3-5. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Lions faces off against Nimitz at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Westfield picked up their fifth consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Miles Dent. Dent turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 116 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, while also throwing for 77 yards and a touchdown. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.

Westfield pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Dent and Westfield will play host again on Friday to welcome Benjamin Davis, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:00 p.m.
