Basketball Recap: Buchholz Wins Going Away Against Leon

Buchholz won the last time they faced Leon and things went their way on Saturday too. Everything went the Buchholz Bobcats' way against the Leon Lions as the Buchholz Bobcats made off with a 57-35 victory.

Buchholz can attribute much of their success to Taylor Booth, who posted 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedy Wyckoff, who earned 11 points.

Aubee Jean Lippman and Naomi Similien certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Lippman scored nine points, while Similien had six points. The dominant performance gave Lippman a new career-high in points.

Buchholz's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-12. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Leon, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.

Buchholz didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 67-35 victory against Matanzas on the 4th. As for Leon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 48-42 win against Chiles on the 4th.
