Hardin-Central extended the longest winning streak in Central Rivers (8 Man) this week by beating Chilhowee, 82-6. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Hardin-Central led the league in scoring this week by notching 82 points on the Indians.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between Chilhowee and Northwest. Erik Lindquist's team enters the game ranked 23rd in the state, while the Mustangs ranks 22nd.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Norborne takes on Kirk Thacker's team. The Pirates have allowed 254 points this season, while the Bulldogs have given up 188. Norborne allowed 28 points last week as it lost to Northwest.
Caleb Crooker's team made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,314 from 1,379. The advance stemmed from a 28-20 victory over the Pirates last week.
