Volleyball Recap: Southern Comes Up Short

Southern came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Northern Garrett Huskies, falling 3-0. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

While Southern was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Northern Garrett's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-13, 27-25.

Southern's loss dropped their record down to 9-11-1. As for Northern Garrett, they pushed their record up to 15-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

As of now, neither Southern nor the Huskies have any future games scheduled.
