Mardela hadn't done well against Wicomico recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Mardela Warriors blew past the Wicomico Indians 73-51. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

Mardela's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Darion Collins, who almost dropped a double-double with 25 points and nine boards. Collins has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jo'Ziah Sherwood, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 17 rebounds.

Mardela pushed their record up to 13-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points over those games. As for Wicomico, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-7.
