Football Game Preview: Springfield Cougars vs. Upper Dublin Cardinals

The Springfield Cougars will face off against the Upper Dublin Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Springfield is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

While Springfield's win against Strath Haven wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-7 victory over the Panthers on Friday. The ten-point effort marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 7-7 at halftime, Upper Dublin was not quite Souderton's equal in the second half on Friday. They were beaten by the Indians 35-7. The Cardinals have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Upper Dublin's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Springfield, their win bumped their record up to 10-0.

Springfield beat Upper Dublin 17-6 when the teams last played back in November of 2017. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cardinals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
