Basketball Game Preview: Hackett Catholic Prep Fighting Irish vs. South Haven Rams

The Hackett Catholic Prep Fighting Irish will face off against the South Haven Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hackett Catholic Prep is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 13 games.

Last Friday, Hackett Catholic Prep didn't have too much trouble with Constantine as they won 42-23. Given the Fighting Irish's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Falcons are ranked 302nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for South Haven, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They strolled past Bridgman with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 42-23. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Bees: they've now won four in a row.

Hackett Catholic Prep pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.2 points over those games. As for South Haven, their win bumped their record up to 13-4.
