Basketball Recap: Seven Straight Home Wins for Blythewood

Blythewood had won six straight home games and Chase Thomas did her part to make it seven on Thursday. The Blythewood Bengals blew past the West Florence Knights, posting a 71-13 win thanks in part to Thomas, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 14 boards. Her evening made it 15 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Daniella Bosmans, who posted nine points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in boards.

Blythewood's victory bumped their record up to 17-1. As for West Florence, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Blythewood will head out to face off against Sumter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Blythewood knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Sumter likes a good challenge. As for West Florence, they will host Ridge View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ridge View is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.9 points per game this season.
