Montgomery County had already won 15 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.9 points) and they went ahead and made it 16 on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 58-41 win over the Hermann Bearcats. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Bearcats are ranked 95th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Montgomery County's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-1. As for Hermann, with the defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 22-5.
