Volleyball Recap: River Mill Comes Up Short

River Mill was the 3-1 winner over Alamance Christian when they last played one another back in September of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. The Jaguars took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors on Friday.

While River Mill ultimately came up short, they really made Alamance Christian work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 26-24, 17-25, 25-17.

River Mill's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, River Mill is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Woods Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alamance Christian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Faith Christian at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th.
