Volleyball Game Preview: Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears vs. Sitka Wolves + How To Watch

After both having extra time off, the Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears and the Sitka Wolves will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Juneau-Douglas' tournament run continued when they took on Bettye Davis East Anchorage on Saturday. The Crimson Bears fell 2-0 to the Thunderbirds. The Crimson Bears haven't had much luck with the Thunderbirds recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Sitka suffered their biggest defeat since November 14, 2024 last Saturday. They came up short against Mt. Edgecumbe, falling 3-0.

While Sitka ultimately came up short, they really made Mt. Edgecumbe work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 27-25, 25-15.

Juneau-Douglas' loss dropped their record down to 21-18-7. As for Sitka, they now have a losing record of 18-19-9.

Juneau-Douglas beat Sitka 2-0 in their previous meeting on October 3rd. Will the Crimson Bears repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
