Softball Recap: Grissom Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Grissom took on Huntsville on Tuesday. The Tigers fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tigers have suffered since March 1st.

Grissom's defeat dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Huntsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-10-1 record this season.

Grissom will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Albertville at 6:00 p.m. The Aggies will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Huntsville, they will head out on the road to square off against Sparkman at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Senators will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
