While Decatur's victory against Krum wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Bobcats on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won five matches in a row.

Decatur wouldn't go down easily and took Krum into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-16, 25-12, 19-25, 15-11.

Krum's loss came despite strong showings from Angelina Saied and Marlie Morris. Saied had 14 digs and two assists, while Morris had 28 kills, 16 digs, and two blocks. Morris is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had six or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

Decatur's win bumped their record up to 36-5. As for Krum, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-16-1.

Decatur has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Eagle Mountain on the 24th. As for Krum, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Burkburnett on the 24th.
