After losing to Corona the last time they met, Chaparral decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Chaparral Pumas were the clear victor by a 58-35 margin over the Corona Panthers on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Pumas as they're now sitting on three straight.

Chaparral pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.3 points. As for Corona, they moved to 10-6 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Chaparral will be taking part in a tournament against Irvine at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Corona, they will take on Rim of the World in a tournament on Friday. Corona is facing Rim of the World at the right time seeing as Rim of the World is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
