Baseball Preview: Boiling Springs Bubblers vs. Hershey Trojans        
        
		
            The Boiling Springs Bubblers will face off against the Hershey Trojans at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Boiling Springs is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4  runs per game  this season.
Boiling Springs proved they can win big  last Thursday (they won by seven) and  on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out James Buchanan  8-6.

 Boiling Springs let  Landon McMahon and  Josh Snyder run wild. McMahon  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4, while  Snyder  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave  McMahon a new career-high in  doubles (two).  Chance Flor was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Hershey made easy work of Red Land  on Wednesday and carried off  an  11-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won three games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Colton Fultz tossed a big game,   tossing five innings while giving up  three earned runs off   three  hits.
 On the hitting side,  Clark Green was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Danny Nelson, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-2.
 Hershey was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Red Land only posted a  batting average of  .143.
 Boiling Springs has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Hershey, their win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 5-3.
 Both Boiling Springs and Hershey just can't seem to miss. The Bubblers have been making plenty of contact this season,  having  averaged 9.1  hits per game. However, it's not like Hershey struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  only 5.1  hits.
