Softball Recap: Valley Vikings vs. Seneca Red Hawks

Valley won the last time they faced Seneca and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Red Hawks. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Makenna Perry made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.
