Volleyball Recap: Christ the King Comes Up Short

Christ the King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Timothy Christian Trojans.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-16.

Christ the King's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Timothy Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season.

Christ the King will square off against Rochelle Zell Jewish at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Timothy Christian, they will face off against Huntley at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
