Volleyball Recap: Austin Gets the Win

Austin's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Waseca Bluejays. The Packers haven't had any issues with the Bluejays recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The victory didn't come easy: Waseca scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20.

Austin's offense was headlined by Isabella Bolser and Charlee Cunningham, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Sophie Kaercher and her 21 assists.

Austin's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Waseca, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Coincidentally, Austin and Waseca will both be playing New Ulm the next time they take the court. The Packers will host the Eagles at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bluejays will play them later in the day, at 11:20 a.m.
