Korba Came Up Big in Peru's 29-16 Defeat
While Isaiah Korba delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Peru. Northwestern had no answer to Korba as he rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Korba showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 52 yards.
Peru dropped their record down to 3-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Korba and Peru will take on Manchester on Friday.

Aiden Robinson Delivers Best Performance of Season
Maconaquah was led to victory by Aiden Robinson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Robinson wasn't messing around, throwing for 376 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 78.3% of his passes. The match was his sixth straight with three or more passing touchdowns dating back to last season.
The win for Maconaquah keeps them at an undefeated 7-0-1. Robinson and Maconaquah will host Rochester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Maconaquah Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Marcell Sims
Marcell Sims was instrumental in extending Maconaquah's winning streak to six on Friday. Sims was dynamite, picking up 178 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 64 yards and a touchdown. His longest reception was for an incredible 71 yards.
This season, Sims has caught those 2 touchdowns while averaging 38.1 receiving yards per game.

Rochester Gets a Boost from Beck in 29-0 Win
Brant Beck's big game helped extend Rochester's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Beck as he rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Southwood's probably not too fond of Beck given he always seems to get the better of them. Beck rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries the last time he and the Knights duked it out back in October of 2023.
