Adding to the longest winning streak in IA Southern - Sunrise this week, Virgin Valley beat Boulder City 34-3. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Bulldogs.

Sunrise Mountain fell to Desert Pines 57-19 last week, the largest margin of any game. Wayna Callahan threw for 140 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 161 yards in the defeat.

Ky Edwards' team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Callahan chipped in 161 yards. Darnell Callahan helped Sunrise Mountain's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 49 yards.

Sunrise Mountain's dynamic duo of Callahan and Jamilo Whitten proved tough for the Jaguars to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Callahan helped Sunrise Mountain's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 49 yards.

Romello Tatum was a key player and the best on defense this week as Sunrise Mountain fell to Desert Pines. The 5-foot-7 senior grabbed 1 interception.

Virgin Valley's Garrett Leavitt and Devonte Milligan have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Leavitt has thrown for 1,094 yards this season, while Milligan has 19 catches for 448 yards. Moapa Valley's Jared Repp leads the league in rushing yards with 472.

The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between Chris Sawyers' team and Ernesto Rodriguez's team. The Bulldogs enters the game ranked 18th in the state, while the Jaguars ranks 17th.

Desert Pines led IA Southern - Sunrise in scoring this week by notching 57 points on Sunrise Mountain.
