Soccer Game Preview: Willows vs. Pierce

Willows hasn't had much luck against Pierce recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Honkers will take on the Bears at 6:00 p.m. Willows has given up an average of 3.8 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Willows fell victim to University Prep and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 5-0.

Meanwhile, Pierce waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. Pierce might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by three goals or more this season.

Willows' defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Pierce, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Willows might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Pierce when the teams last played back in January of 2025. Can the Honkers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
