Softball Game Preview: First Assembly Christian Crusaders vs. St. George's Gryphons

The First Assembly Christian Crusaders will square off against the St. George's Gryphons at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. First Assembly Christian is looking for their season's first victory.

First Assembly Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They fell just short of Harding Academy by a score of 18-16 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, St. George's came into Wednesday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They never let Harding Academy get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Wednesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

First Assembly Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for St. George's, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-6.

Everything went First Assembly Christian's way against St. George's in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as First Assembly Christian made off with a 15-8 win.
