Volleyball Recap: Madison Minniear Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Logansport

Benton Central won the last time they faced Logansport and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bison blew past the Berries 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bison.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Benton Central was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-11, 25-6.

Benton Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Madison Minniear, who had five digs and three aces. That's the most aces Minniear has posted over her last ten contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Widmer, who had ten digs and four assists.

Benton Central's record is now 15-5. As for Logansport, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Benton Central will venture away from home to take on McCutcheon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Logansport, they will head out to square off against Kokomo at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
