Volleyball Recap: Leanna Pimentel Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat La Salle

Saugus won the last time they faced La Salle and things went their way on Saturday too. The Centurions came out on top against the Lancers by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Centurions.

Saugus' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Leanna Pimentel, who had seven digs and three aces. That's the most digs Pimentel has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Stires, who had ten digs.

Saugus' win bumped their record up to 26-5. As for La Salle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-7-1.

Saugus didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Basha on the 27th. As for La Salle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Crescenta Valley on the 27th.
