Football Preview: Amador Buffaloes vs. Grace Lancers
The Amador Buffaloes are taking a road trip to challenge the Grace Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Friday, Amador didn't have quite enough to beat Pierce and fell 24-21.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Grace at home against Arrowhead Christian on Saturday as the team secured a 63-22 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lancers.
Ethan Lasecla had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 170 yards and five touchdowns, and also threw for 206 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes. Aidan Kolesar was in the mix too, providing Grace with two receiving touchdowns touchdowns.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Grace was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 497 total yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Arrowhead Christian only gained 351.
Grace wouldn't let Arrowhead Christian keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Grace can thank Jaadin Weyandt and Jayden Foote for forcing both of them. Weyandt also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack, forcing a fumble, and making seven total tackles (1.0 for loss).
Amador's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Grace, their record now sits at 2-0.
