After four games on the road, Bloomfield is heading back home. They will take on the Gallup Bengals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Mexico (Bloomfield is ranked 20th, while Gallup is ranked 13th).
Bloomfield suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. They suffered a tough 44-24 loss at the hands of St. Pius X. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bloomfield has scored all season.
Aliya Quintana put forth a good effort for the losing side as she dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds. Quintana is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.
Meanwhile, Gallup stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 60-23 win over Belen on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Gallup has posted against Belen since March 10, 2015.
Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Gallup, their win was their 16th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-5.
