Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tarkington). They breezed by the High Island Cardinals to the tune of 83-11 on Friday. The Longhorns have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, High Island still got an impressive performance from Cam'Ron Medina, who posted 11 points. That was a full 100% of High Island's points, marking the 14th time in a row he's had more than a third of the team's points.

The win (which was Tarkington's fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points per game. As for High Island, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-12.

Coincidentally, Tarkington and High Island will both be playing Lumberton the next time they take the court. High Island will head out to face Lumberton at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, while Tarkington will play them later in the day, at 10:20 a.m.
