Baseball Recap: Monticello Takes a Loss

Monticello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Camanche Indians. Surprisingly, this marked the Panthers' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Monticello's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Camanche, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Monticello beat the Indians by a score of 13-10 later that day.
