Volleyball Recap: Maumee's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Maumee won the last time they faced Port Clinton and things went their way on Saturday too. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Redskins. The victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Maumee found their leader in sophomore Julia Coutcher, who had five digs and two aces.

The win got Maumee back to even at 5-5. As for Port Clinton, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Coincidentally, Maumee and Port Clinton will both be playing Marion Harding the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Presidents at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Redskins will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
