Basketball Game Preview: Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Lakers vs. Michigan Lutheran Titans

The Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Lakers will head out to square off against the Michigan Lutheran Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Our Lady of the Lake Catholic came up short against Brandywine on Wednesday, falling 70-46. While losing is never fun, the Lakers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 633rd, while the Bobcats are ranked 253rd).

Meanwhile, Michigan Lutheran came tearing into Thursday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.4 points), and they left with even more momentum. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 50-48 victory over the Bobcats.

Michigan Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Our Lady of the Lake Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
