Stringer had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They never let the Enterprise Yellowjackets get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The Red Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Yellowjackets, too.
Madilyn Graham made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Enterprise, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 10-7.
Stringer will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Yellowjackets: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
