Basketball Recap: More Takes a Loss

More lost against Summit Shasta back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The More Knights were beaten by the Summit Shasta Black Bears 82-49. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1009th, while the Black Bears are ranked 390th).

Despite the loss, More still got an impressive performance from Anthony Selway, who posted 19 points. Sean Selway was another key player, putting up four points and nine rebounds.

More now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Summit Shasta, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

More didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-51 defeat against Basis Independent Silicon Valley on the 13th. Summit Shasta does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
