Basketball Game Preview: East Noble Knights vs. Wawasee Warriors

The East Noble Knights will venture away from home to face off against the Wawasee Warriors at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. East Noble will be strutting in after a win while Wawasee will be coming in after a loss.

East Noble took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They took down Angola 67-49.

Meanwhile, Wawasee was not able to break out of their rough patch last Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 58-44 bruising from Westview. While losing is never fun, Wawasee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 288th, while Westview is ranked 106th).

East Noble has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points over those games. Wawasee's loss dropped their record down to 6-15.

East Noble came up short against Wawasee in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 61-50. Can East Noble avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
