Volleyball Recap: New Braunfels Thunder Takes a Loss

New Braunfels Thunder was the 2-0 winner over Varsity Opponent when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Homeschool took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Varsity Opponent on Saturday. The Homeschool have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Selah Clayton paced New Braunfels Thunder's offense, picking up four kills. Clayton got some help from Maddison Heiser and her seven assists.

New Braunfels Thunder's loss dropped their record down to 30-8-2.

Varsity Opponent has already played their next contest (against Texas Lions Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. New Braunfels Thunder will be paying especially close attention to Varsity Opponent's match: after Varsity Opponent face off against Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, they'll take on New Braunfels Thunder again at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
