Basketball Preview: Shenandoah Zeps vs. Cambridge Bobcats
Shenandoah is 4-0 against the Bobcats since December of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Shenandoah Zeps will be playing at home against the Cambridge Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
On Monday, Shenandoah beat the Panthers 64-53.
Meanwhile, Cambridge had to endure a 12-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They breezed by Tuscarawas Central Catholic at home to the tune of 55-27 last Monday. That looming 55-27 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Cambridge yet this season.
Shenandoah has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-12 record this season. As for Cambridge, their win ended a eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-16.
Shenandoah took their win against the Bobcats in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 by a conclusive 54-33. Does Shenandoah have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bobcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
