Recap: Central Jaguars vs. Baker Gators        
        
		
            
 With a playoff game on the line, the Central Jaguars rose to the challenge  on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a  33-31  victory over the Gators. That's another feather in the cap for Central, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
 Leading Central to victory were  Lakin Mathews and  Lily Mathews.  Mathews  scored 13 points along with five  steals, while  Mathews  scored 16 points along with six  rebounds and three  steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which  Mathews has scored at least a third of Central's points.
 Central is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. As for Baker,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 10-12.
 Central will head out on the road to  take on  Paxton at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Paxton will roll in looking for their  ninth straight  win, something Central surely won't give up without a fight. Baker does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
