The Heights had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Archbishop Carroll Lions with a sharp 13-3 win. The Heights' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Jackson McDonnell was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Luke Shepherd, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

The Heights' victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 6-6. As for Archbishop Carroll, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
