Basketball Game Preview: MacArthur Brahmas vs. Seguin Matadors

The MacArthur Brahmas will face off against the Seguin Matadors at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

MacArthur saw some tournament action on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 58-41 victory over San Antonio Christian.

Among those leading the charge was Noah Leguizamo, who posted 12 points. Savastain Espinoza-Carson was another key player, putting up four points in addition to six rebounds and five steals.

Seguin not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since January 17th (when they won 63-37). Everything went their way against La Vernia as they made off with a 68-46 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Matadors.

Seguin now has a winning record of 2-1. As for MacArthur, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

MacArthur took a serious blow against Seguin when the teams last played back in November of 2024, falling 59-19. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Brahmas were down 31-11.
