Basketball Recap: West Greene Comes Up Short

West Greene was the 46-42 winner over Chuckey-Doak when they last played one another back in December of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Buffaloes were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 69-68 to the Black Knights. Buffaloes fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Black Knights since Friday.

West Greene's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Chuckey-Doak, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. West Greene is set to face off against their familiar foe South Greene at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Chuckey-Doak will challenge rival Happy Valley at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
