Softball Recap: Lutheran Comes Up Short

Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the North Boone Vikings, falling 23-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-0 on Monday.

Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for North Boone, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lutheran will challenge rival Byron at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North Boone is set to take on their familiar foe Genoa-Kingston at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
